Local Extreme Oscillator (LEO) is Sentras AI’s proprietary technical indicator designed to detect local market bottoms. It serves as the core indicator powering our trading bot.

LEO is built from our quant research on price structure, identifying patterns when prices are statistically likely to bounce. We designed LEO to reach specific range of values when the market shows a high probability of forming a local bottom.

The main motivation behind this indicator is interpretability, we want our signals and local-bottom predictions to be easy to understand, while the complex modeling and abstraction stay hidden under the hood.
